most of software respond as UNDO for the Contrrol - Z combination. REDO should be opposite of this. Many software uses Control - Y & Many utilizes Control - Shift - Z also to reverse the action made by an Undo ( REDO ), like Photoshop & many other Adobe's graphic design software
SOme use the same key ctrl+Z to redo and undo, some use Ctrl+Y, some ctrl+shift+Z etc... some have multiple levels or undos and so on.. My recommendation is to check the options in the edit menu of that software for more information
